CRX-4K is a multifunctional, high-performance design, liquid helium free closed-loop low-temperature probe station launched by Lake Shore Corporation. This system combines the convenience of operating without liquid helium with the excellent measurement performance of Lake Shore products. It uses an independent closed-loop refrigeration system that can cool to low temperatures without human assistance after startup. The diverse options and configurations of CRX-4K enable researchers to achieve precise and challenging measurements. This probe station can provide a minimum temperature of 4.5K, and the installation of multiple thermometers inside the probe station ensures accurate and repeated measurements. A two-stage closed-loop refrigeration machine allows the sample to maintain a high temperature during the cooling process, reducing the possibility of sample condensation, which is a key requirement for measuring organic materials. The CRX-4K can be customized to accommodate wafers with a diameter of up to 102 millimeters (4 inches) and has a detection area with a diameter of 51 millimeters (2 inches).
