CPX-VF Cryogenic Superconducting Magnet Probe Station

The CPX-VF probe station at Lake Shore has added a ± 2.5T superconducting magnet, which can perform C-V, I-V, microwave, and electro-optic detection, as well as out of plane vertical field superconducting magnetic measurements. Researchers can use CPX-VF for Hall effect measurement and testing of magnetic transport parameters. CPX-VF is one of the excellent probe stations in Lake Shore that combines microwave and magnetic field measurements.
CPX-VF achieves true 90 ° wafer probing on wafers with a diameter of up to 51mm (2 inches). The sample can maintain a high temperature during the cooling process, reducing the possibility of sample condensation, which is a key requirement for measuring organic materials.
CPX-VF uses liquid helium or liquid nitrogen for continuous flow refrigeration (liquid helium must be used when using superconducting magnets), with an operating temperature range of 4.2 K to 400 K. The low-temperature option can be used to extend the basic low-temperature to 2 K.
