The CRX-6.5K combines the convenience of helium-free operation with the reliability of Lake Shore products, offering users a low-cost, versatile solution. It utilizes an independent closed-cycle cryocooler, enabling unattended cooling to low temperatures after startup. Its multifunctionality and cost-effectiveness make the CRX-6.5K a preferred tool for researchers worldwide.
I-V, C-V, and microwave measurements are standard on the CRX-6.5K. The dual-stage closed-cycle refrigerator allows the sample to remain at a higher temperature during cooling, reducing the likelihood of sample condensation, which is a critical requirement for measuring organic materials.
The CRX-6.5K can operate within a temperature range of 8 K to 350 K, with an optional high-temperature extension from 20 K to 675 K. The system accommodates full and partial wafers with diameters up to 51 mm (2 in). A wide selection of probes, test cables, sample holders, and accessories enables it to meet diverse specific measurement applications.
